In February, 2022 when Russia viciously attacked Ukraine, Ben volunteered to go there, and was catastrophically wounded when his crew was struck by incoming fire which killed his colleagues. Ben credits a miracle that enabled him to survive which he writes about in his new book, “Saved”.
